Vegan Gluten Free Baking

Hello and welcome to my Vegan Gluten Free Baking store front. My name is Anna and I have been baking gluten free treats since I was diagnosed with coeliac disease more than a decade ago. I trained as a dietitian so it was easy for me to incorporate gluten free lifestyle into my home and baking. Gluten also damages the part of digestive tract where dairy is absorbed so I started making dairy free/gluten free cakes. Later on people would ask me whether my baked treats were vegan too. And so as the number of people asking for vegan gluten free cakes grew I decided to change my cake repertoire and Vegan Gluten Free Baking was born. I bake in my own cozy home kitchen here in lovely Brighton. Food hygiene rating 5. All my cakes are made from scratch and most of them are soy free. I don't use commercial food colorings but use natural fruit preserves and natural vegi extracts for color. The fruit preserves I use are all natural, free from added sugar, sweetened only with fruit juices and there is no high fructose corn syrup in the preserves or any other product I use in my baking. I’ve made the Healthy Choice Commitment with my local council where I try to provide my customers with healthier options for cakes and other baked goods. I try to do this by making cakes with less sugar, using high fiber flours, adding vegetables and beans into cakes, using only natural food colorings, avoiding high fructose corn syrup, and using real vanilla extract not just vanilla flavoring.
