Baking is a huge passion of mine and I started baking back in 2010 when I started my PhD. I have been baking for friends and family ever since and always keep the mechanics fuelled at my husbands motor races! I am constantly pushing myself to learn more and more new techniques and I'm always up for a challenge! The inspiration to finally start Blooming Good Bakes came after I made my own wedding cake in 2016. I couldn’t bring myself to hire someone else to make my cake exactly how I imagined it, so I decided to make it myself. I had so much fun making the cake and received so many wonderful comments afterwards that I finally plucked up the courage to start my very own business doing exactly what I love. I make cakes because I truly love and enjoy doing it – time and passion goes into every cake I bake and I pride myself on making cakes that don't just look amazing but taste amazing too! All my cakes are made with fairtrade ingredients where possible and free-range eggs.
