How to register you cake business- some helpful advice

Make sure you’re ready!

Every person who runs a baking business needs to have an understanding of general food legislation and be registered with their local authority.

If you already run a baking business, you will have registered with your local authority, but for those of you who are just starting out this may seem a little daunting. This is a straight forward process and in order to help you, we have put together a video blog or ‘vlog’ ,with the help of Nikki Fissenden @Simplynogluten, which explains how easy the process is and should not be something to be worried about. Take a look below (click to view video) on how easy it is:

Mums Bake Cakes want to encourage all bakers to appear on our site, however due to food and hygiene legislation we need to ensure that all bakers conform to the highest standards. We are unable to register bakers without local authority registration.

2nd Part would be to ensure you have some GREAT photographs of your cakes- Take a look HERE at some Top Tips for photographing your cakes.

Protect your photographs by using a watermark- check it out HERE  for some great advice.

Happy Baking!
